At the Constructing Excellence Yorkshire & Humber Awards on Friday 1st July, ARC Building Solutions celebrated a third award-win in three days.
ARC T-Barrier® was awarded the winner in the category of innovation, fighting off tough opposition from entries submitted by WSP|Parsons Brinckerhoff, Carillion \ Morgan Sindall Joint Venture, Costain, Atkins / Laing O’Rourke, A-one+ Integrated Highway Services and Carillion/Morgan Sindall Joint Venture (CMSJV).
“The judges were impressed by the winning organisation. They saw a need, understood the key challenge, and designed a product that directly confronted that challenge. It is backed up with sound academic data, it is continuously being improved, and as well as meeting the needs of the Building Regulations, it has been accepted by the major house builders, which in itself is a challenge.”
As a winner of these regional awards, ARC will now be moved through to the national awards in the category of innovation, held later in the year.
